BETHESDA, MD. -- Discovery Channel said it will sponsor the "Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station," The Mars Society's simulated Mars exploration base that's due to begin operations in Canada in mid-July. In exchange for giving the base "substantial financial support," the network will get exclusive media rights to its activities this year and next.
