Time Warner Adds Broadband Weather.(Intellicast.com to provide Time Warner Cable Internet users with weather information)(Brief Article)

BILLERICA, MASS. - Time Warner Cable and Intellicast.com will create broadband weather information for the MSO's high-speed Internet users. The new service debuts in Portland, Maine, and will include atmospheric modeling, hourly forecasts, local radar, storm watches and warnings, plus local and national on-demand video forecasts.
Time Warner said it expects to increase cable modem penetration by adding more broadband content features. The MSO will tailor Intellicast in each of the markets where it's rolled out.
