Thomas Tapped For A&E Post.(Bruce Thomas to head new intergrated marketing department at A&E Television Networks)(Brief Article)

NEW YORK -- A&E Television Networks said it has established a new integrated marketing department in an effort to further drive cross-platform sales. Headed by industry veteran Bruce Thomas, the unit will develop marketing partnerships with advertisers across four networks -- A&E Network, The History Channel, Biography Channel and History Channel International -- as well as Biography magazine and the company's Internet sites.

Thomas, formerly of TeleCommunications Inc. and AT&T Media Services, most recently worked as senior vice president of sales for OneMediaPlace (now Mediapassage), an Internet media-transaction facilitator.
