WASHINGTON -- Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) has recommended legislative aide Jonathan Adelstein to fill a Democratic seat on the Federal Communications Commission. In a statement Thursday, Daschle said he planned to send President Bush a letter soon formally proposing the nomination.
At press time, President Bush had not yet nominated Adelstein for Senate confirmation, according to the White House Web site.
