Cable Guy II? (Through the Wire).(CBS' CSI episode of April 4)(Brief Article)

Multichannel News, April, 2002 by Applebaum, Simon

CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode on April 4 took Jim Carrey's Cable Guy character to a whole new level. Like Carrey, actor Doug Hutchinson's cable installer (for the fictitious Luna Cable in Las Vegas) is in obsessive mode. But the CS/ character goes beyond that, to being a voyeuristic control freak and stalker who turns murderous.

That, we learn, is due in part to this installer's morbid fascination with the forensics work that Nick (George Eads) -- also one of his cable customers -- does at CSI. Installer moral of the week: never mix Quincy, ME. reruns with On-Time Customer Service Guarantee training.
