MINNEAPOLIS -- ValueVision Media Inc. said it is on track to meet or exceed its second-quarter revenue and cash-flow guidance, based on current sales trends.
In a statement, ValueVision said it still expects to report sales of $128 million to $133 million and cash flow of $3.5 million to $5.5 million in the second quarter, which ends July 31. Net shipped sales increased by 40 percent in May, the company said. It enjoyed its largest single-day sales ever on June 15, when it generated $5 million in orders. ValueVision operates the ShopNBC television-shopping channel, as well as the Web site ShopNBC.com.
