(NASDAQ-USAI) Shares in USA Interactive were down over the two days leading to Nov. 25, as investors worried if an outside offer for Vivendi Universal Entertainment might draw USA Interactive chairman Barry Diller into a bidding war. USA stock dropped 4.5 percent, or $1.33 each, to $28.34 on Nov.

22 as investors were concerned that Diller may be forced to use some of his USAI stock to counter oil billionaire Marvin Davis' $20 billion offer for VUE earlier this month. Diller also is chairman of VUE.
