TORONTO -- Canadian communications powerhouse Rogers Communications Inc. announced two management changes in its cable division in the wake of Rogers Cable Inc. chairman and CEO John Tory's decision to run for mayor here. Last Friday, Rogers announced that cable president and COO Edward Rogers will become president and co-CEO of Rogers Cable.
John Tory will begin the process of shifting his duties and will remain as chairman and co-CEO until he devotes his efforts to his campaign full time. In addition, RCI senior vice president of government relations and Rogers Cable interim senior vice president of sales and marketing Dean MacDonald was appointed executive vice president and COO of the cable company.
