Cable operators in search of an ad sales boost can tap into the Disney brand this summer and again in the fall. Thanks to an increased emphasis on affiliate promotions at ABC Cable Networks, operators can also take advantage of promotions designed to win new high speed access customers.
Both ad sales promotions are returning after establishing track records in previous years. This summer, Toon Disney's "Most Animated Kid Search" will again cross-cross the country holding contests. Participating kids go in front of a green screen and act along with animated characters. Winning performances from each market are shown online and kids vote to select the best.
