Before Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing CEO Char Beales and Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer took center stage at the CTAM Summit's opening general session in Seattle last week, conference co-chairs Rich Cronin and Joe Rooney woke attendees up with their "art and science" of marketing routine.

In the midst of welcoming attendees, highlighting sessions and thanking sponsors, Cronin, Game Show Networks CEO, and Rooney, senior marketing vice president at Cox Communications Inc., as the "art" and "science" guys, had Summit sitters in stitches in Seattle.
