Path 1 lands cable deal.(Brief Article)

SAN DIEGO -- Path 1 Network Technologies Inc. last week announced a video-on-demand deal with an unnamed U.S. cable operator for its routing technology. The unnamed buyer is purchasing Path's Chameleon vidX V0D devices, which enables the transmission of HD and standard definition signals on VOD systems.
Path 1 said its vidX series offers cable operators flexibility by increasing the amount of VOD content a system can offer without rebuilding plant. Path 1 said the initial phase of the deployment is valued at $350,000.
