PRINCETON, N.J. -- RCN Corp. and Starz Encore Group have reached a new affiliation agreement, covering the launch of the subscription-video-on-demand service Starz On Demand in the distributor's VOD-enabled markets throughout the year. In addition, RCN, which has about 390,000 subscribers, will add Starz! HD and Starz! Kids.
Starz! HD will be available on the operator's systems in Boston; Manhattan and Queens, N.Y.; Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; and Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley, Pa.
