Food's 'Iron Chef' adds interactivity.(interactive television)(Brief Article)

LOS ANGELES -- Scripps Networks' Food Network has launched an interactive TV version of Iron Chef, powered by the software and networking capabilities of GoldPocket Interactive. Viewers will be able to rate the chefs on the program and vote on their favorite dish. A special interactive bingo game also is planned.

Food will keep a running scorecard how each of the chefs are doing with their interactive audience. Biographical information, plus information on restaurants, specialties and training also will be available.
