C-COR gets VOD win in St. Louis.(Broadband Briefs)(Charter Communications Inc.)(Brief Article)

ST. Louis -- C-COR Inc. said Charter Communications Inc. will rollout its nCUBE division's VOD server and nABLE back office management system for its hometown St. Louis system.
Charter said this would be a complete switch-out of Concurrent Computer Corp. servers and software in St. Louis, which will be redeployed elsewhere by the No. 4 U.S. cable company.
"We now the success of our Charter On Demand offering requires the marriage of scalable hardware, interoperable software and professional services expertise with a flexibility that allows us to integrate with exciting new platforms," Wayne Davis, executive vice president of engineering and chief technical officer, said in a statement.
