Study: gays high on Bravo, A&E.(A and E Television Networks, ranking)

Bravo and A&E Network are the top cable networks, while Showtime's Queer as Folk is the second most-popular TV show among the gay and lesbian community. Those were among the brand findings of the annual Gay/Lesbian Consumer Online Census, a survey of the demographics, lifestyles and media patterns of some 8,000 gay and lesbian consumers.

Among cable networks, premium services Home Box Office and Showtime trailed Bravo and A&E, while Comedy Central came in fifth place. Queer as Folk, which began its fifth and final season on May 22, placed second among respondents to the Gay/Lesbian Census. Topping the list: NBC's Will & Grace.
