DALLAS -- HDNet will provide live HD coverage of the Space Shuttle's return to action. The Space Shuttle Discovery and its seven--member crew are scheduled to embark on NASA mission STS-114 July 13 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and the network said it will provide behind-the-scenes access to the astronauts and their families as they eat breakfast, suit up, board the shuttle, and complete their prelaunch routine inside the crew module.
Viewers will witness the countdown and launch and follow Discovery as it reaches the earth's atmosphere, HDNet added. The network's HD cameras will also be live on location for the shuttle's landing, currently scheduled for July 25 at 11:01 a.m. (ET).
