Sci Fi: 'Blasters' is past.(Sci-Fi Channel Inc)(Master Blasters reality show)(Brief Article)

Unable to propel the show to higher ratings, Sci Fi Channel's original reality series Master Blasters has been pulled from the lineup.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not took the show's 11 p.m. slot last Wednesday, the network said. After three airings, Blasters, which pits rocket scientists in a competition to launch projects into orbit, generated a paltry 0.4 household rating through Aug. 10. Sci Fi moved the skein--part of a new Wednesday original series block--to 11 p.m. from 9 p.m., a week after posting a 0.6 ratings for its July 27 debut. Ghost Hunters, which aired from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., moved up an hour.
