NCTC clears sandvine Vonage to offer subs Motorola VoIP gateway.(North Central Telephone Cooperative)(Vonage Holdings Corp.)(Brief Article)

ROSEMONT, ILL, -- Vonage Holdings Corp. will begin offering consumers the new Motorola Inc. VT2442 voice-over-internet protocol gateway, which includes home-networking features. The unit can power two lines of service and supports call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID. The gateway also features a firewall and a home-network router with four Ethernet ports to connect PCs or gaming consoles.
It uses a Texas Instruments Inc.'s TNETV 1060 VoIP gateway chip set.
