Due to the increasing chaos caused by the enormity of the damage caused to the country's Gulf Coast by Hurricane Katrina, affected operators last week said they couldn't even begin to quantify the loss to business operations in the region. At this point, their primary concern is the human tragedy.

Companies are using every means at their disposal to attempt to locate employees. Sadly, it's a near-futile task in a region with no power and a massive number of uninhabitable structures.
