Harmonic debuts new multiplex gear.(Brief Article)

SUNNYVALE, CALIF. -- Harmonic Inc. introduced a new family of course wavelength division multiplexing gear: the NDT 3140 transmitters, in combination with RDR 4002 receivers. The new gear will be able to support the growing demand for interactive applications while reducing the cost of provisioning services.
Harmonic said the new gear uses both time division and wavelength division multiplexing, allowing operators to expand upstream capacity for high-speed data applications.
