Multichannel News, February, 2006
STAMFORD, CONN, -- Recently spurned by the National Football League in its attempt to grab an eight-game primetime package, Comcast Corp.-owned OLN last Friday announced that it will distribute Arena Football League games, the first of which was slated to kickoff Feb. 19. The network will also telecast one AFL playoff contest.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but those familiar with the pact said OLN is committed for one year, with the option to extend the deal after the season.
