By Karen Brown Cable Contingent Works the Room at CTIA Wireless Show There was plenty of evidence of cable DNA at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas last week, ranging from Mickey Mouse helping to introduce The Walt Disney Co.'s Disney Mobile family cell phone service to Time Warner Cable chairman and CEO Glenn Britt saying he was interested in mobile phones for more than just voice calls.
There were plenty of cable network players trolling the show floor or standing in Sin City's chronically snakelike taxi lines. And many were planning to head straight from Las Vegas to Atlanta for the National Show.
