By Ted Hearn Comcast CEO Wants Industry Dialogue on Channel Costs Washington-- Brian Roberts wants to talk sports -- and not necessarily the merits of Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson's crossover dribble. The Comcast Corp. chairman and CEO last Thursday called for an industry debate on whether all cable subscribers or just die-hard fans should pay for expensive sports networks.

"I think it's time to call for a dialogue, a serious dialogue on this subject. We would be very willing to participate without preconditions as to what the solution is.
