Not only do revelers find a good time, but in recent years, hosts are using the bacchanals as a way to raise cash for charity, too.

For instance, TV Guide set up its party central at the club Social Hollywood, where the attendees ranged from A (Adam Carolla, Allison Janney of The West Wing ) to Z (Zach Braff of NBC's Scrubs ).
