By Staff Africa Channel Darrell Smith was named vice president of community development and marketing at Africa Channel. He comes from the Pan African Children's Fund, where he was executive director. ATSC Glenn Reitmeier was elected 2007 chairman of the board of directors for the Advanced Television Systems Committee.
He is vice president of technology policy, standards and strategy at NBC Universal.
