By Staff Starz Gains Rights To Weinstein Titles Staff Englewood, Colo. -- Starz Entertainment acquired the exclusive pay TV rights to theatricals Grindhouse , Scary Movie 4 and Shut Up & Sing from The Weinstein Co. The agreement also includes availability on Vongo, Starz's movie download service, as well as video-on-demand service Starz On Demand.
Grindhouse , currently in theaters, is a pulp thriller directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Comedy horror spoof Scary Movie 4 was directed by David Zucker, while Shut Up & Sing , a documentary about The Dixie Chicks, was directed by Barbara Kopple and Cecilia Peck.
