Thomas Umstead Black Entertainment Television will take on traditional Sunday-morning broadcast and cable news shows with a revamped version of issues-oriented talker Meet the Faith , beginning June 3. The 11 a.m. series is the hallmark of the network's year-long restructuring of its news department that is emphasizing short news breaks rather than traditional nightly-news programs in an effort to satisfy its time challenged core 18-to-34 viewers, said BET vice president of news and public affairs Keith Brown.
