Unitec rolls out Speedpass car wash systems.(Store Equipment Industry News)(Unitec Electronics)

Unitec Electronics, Jessup, Md., has announced the rollout of its Enterlink Carwash Entry System with Speedpass. The company has recently completed a joint-development effort with ExxonMobil, Irving, Texas, to incorporate its Speedpass, as well as credit and debit acceptance, into the Enterlink and the Wash Select II POS. The introduction of Unitec's Wash Select II POS with Speedpass is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

The new Enterlink and Wash Select II POS with Speedpass units not only allow car wash customers the convenience of using their Speedpass transponders right at the car wash entrance, but also allow customers to use the same major credit cards and debit cards at the car wash that they can use at the gasoline dispenser.
