Los salones de exposición están repletos de fanáticos que quieren ver de cerca este vehÃculo; legendario exponente de la tradición automovilÃstica británica. Las raÃces de este auto se originaron en 1959 cuando el primer Mini rodó por las calles y rutas de Inglaterra. El Classic Mini se transformó en una leyenda europea y fue votado en el Viejo Continente como el Auto del Siglo.
Tras el regreso del Mini, las órdenes de compra se han multiplicado de inmediato luego de que una concurrencia de más de 50,000 personas atendió los eventos del lanzamiento en el Reino Unido. El vehÃculo debutó en el 'Tokio Motor Show' en Octubre del 2001.
