El Rally de Finlandia toma lugar en el mes de agosto en la ciudad de Jyvaskyla, situada a tres horas de Helsinki, capital de Finlandia. Este famoso evento, más conocido anteriormente como el "Rally de los 1000 Lagos", ha sido dominado cada año por pilotos nórdicos y éste no fue ninguna excepción.
Altos saltos con poca visibilidad tomados a velocidades inimaginables son una de las más impresionantes características de este rally. El público aficionado llena usualmente los bosques de Finlandia para vibrar de emoción al paso de estos bólidos con alas, y apoyar a la vez a sus pilotos nativos.
