Sanyo introduces the PLC-XP55 ("L" denotes unit without lens) which falls into SANYO's family of portable multimedia LCD projectors. Weighting less than 20 pounds, the PLC XP55/L combines a 300-watt NSH lamp with SANYO's high-contrast optical system to produce an impressive 4500 ANSI lumens and solid contrast ratio of 1100:1. This unit offers a XGA native resolution of 1024 X 768 and produces crisp, clean images up to 400 inches diagonally. This projector can accommodate the optional PJ-Net Organizer Plus, SANYO's new wired networking system, which provides advanced tools for the control and administration of one or more projectors from a single computer using a web browser.
