Aging administration distributes funds to help reach people in managed care.(Brief Article)

Aging service providers are reaching participants in managed care organizations or working under capitated financing arrangements, thanks to a set of grants this month from the Administration on Aging.
For example, Inglewood, Calif., received a grant to foster closer collaboration between the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging, Kaiser Permanente, the Partners in Care Foundation and a group called Food & Nutrition Management Services, Inc.
In Clearwater, Fla., Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services got money to partner with Community Aging & Retirement Services, the Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas.
Altogether, AoA distributed $600,000 to 14 organizations in 10 states pursuant to a...
