Fujitsu puts DWDM in XFP.(NEW PRODUCTS)

Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Laboratories Limited announced the joint development of the world's first commercial 10-Gigabit Small Form Factor Pluggable (XFP)-type optical transceiver for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM). The transceiver will make it possible to develop and manufacture smaller, less expensive, high-speed DWDM optical transmission equipment.

The transceiver will be available March 31, 2006.
