Asia Netcom announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tricom Asia. Under the MoU, Asia Netcom will provide Tricom Asia with cable landing station, PoP, backhaul, and operations and maintenance services to support the landing of the Vietnam Hong Kong Cable (VNHKC) system in Hong Kong.
"With this agreement, Tricom not only becomes a strategic customer for Asia Netcom, but the company's new subsea cable makes them an important partner in bringing seamless connectivity to one of the region's fastest growing markets--Vietnam," said Bill Barney, Asia Netcom's president and chief executive officer.
