Bill Would Renew Clean Water Funding.(Brief article)

On Jan. 30, a bill was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives to renew funding for the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund. The Water Quality Financing Act of 2007 (H.R. 720) also includes a provision to require the Government Accountability Office to conduct a study to assist Congress in quickly identifying a dedicated source(s) of revenue to establish a Clean Water Trust Fund to ensure the availability of appropriations to fund clean water needs over the long term.
