When fluctuating temperatures and humidity put a damper on seagoing shipments of DaimlerChrysler's automobile components to Latin America, it was up to the company's package designer and parts shipper to steer the company into safe harbor. Today, moisture-absorbing bags drive rust from the 'packaging equation.'
