Consumers have taken a shine to an innovative new package from Sara Lee Household and Body Care USA for its Kiwi(r) Express [TM] Shine Sponge. Putting its best foot forward, the company has put a spring in the step of a category stagnant from lack of innovation with an ergonomically shaped container that uses a new dosage reservoir system for product convenience and integrity.
"The driving force behind the introduction of the product was the lack of convenience in shoe care," says Bob Clark, director of marketing for Shoe Care, Sara Lee. Light and portable, the new Kiwi sponge is packaged in a triangularshaped, polypropylene container, with a black bottom and an opaque top. The package is manufactured by Georg Menshen GmbH & Co.
