Aegis[TM] OX polymerized nanocomposite, oxygen-scavenging barrier nylon resin is available for co-injection-molded PET bottles, including beer bottles and orange juice containers. The resin, which can achieve a six-month shelf life for beer, is specially formulated for high oxygen and carbon dioxide barrier performance, even in high humidity.
