Lending a hand at home. (Marketing Notes).(advertisement)

Reaching into an ever more segmented category, Helmac Canada, Concord, ON, is extending its series of EverCare[R] household gloves with a graphic design system developed by Landor Associates and adapted by Helmac's in-house design team. EverCare sales vp Matt Herriot says the package update, completed in January, now covers the 25 glove types the company markets. The rear-gusseted, opaque white PP bags, variously supplied, all depict a gloved hand at work to differentiate product rather than a transparent panel; copy on the bags differentiates the gloves by material and function. Format and the sweeping logotype link the products to each other for multiple and repeat sales.
