Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc. is hoping that cola-drinkers will flip over its new rollout, dnL[TM], a "NUcola" take on the UNcola." Besides its clever moniker--an upside-down version of the 7 UR[R] logo--dnL also presents consumers with a new perspective an 7 UP's time-tested packaging and taste. "By the very nature of turning 7 UP upside down, or flipping it, we've now got a clear bottle, rather than a green bottle, and a green cola, instead of a clear one," explains Kelli Freeman, director of brand marketing for 7 UP and dnL. "We also have caffeine in the product, and rather than a light, lemon-lime flavor, we're offering a strong, fruit-flavor blast."
