The VCBS is a USDA-approved, heavy-duty vertical sealing system with a lower-carry, variable speed-conveyor for light- to heavy-duty applications. The continuous band sealer will seal and trim Tyvek, Mylar, nylon, coated paper, foil, coextrusions and laminated materials. Also capable of sealing PE, PP and other unsupported films, it's supplied with a positive vacuum-scrap top-trim removal system. It includes a digital, heavy-duty temperature controller that maintains temperatures up to 500 deg F, [ or -] 2 deg. It produces hermetic seals with a trim feature, in widths of 1/8, 1/4 or 3/8 in. wide.
