The new Medio[TM] P101 has been introduced as a small and powerful, yet low-cost, 13.56-mHz RFID reader for mid-range reading applications. The reader provides networking capabilities using either a USB/Ethernet or a USB/WiFi interface. Remotely upgradeable, the Medio P101 allows the user to change tag protocols without having to change hardware. The system reads and writes to a range of HF RFID chips--including C210, C220, C240, C270 (I-Code), C320 (ISO 18000-3 mode 1 extended), C370 (ISO 15693), I-Code EPC and I-Code UID--and may be used across multiple vertical industries, in standard or standalone mode.
