> Singulair allergy label expands: FDA approves broader allergy indication for Merck's Singulair for the "relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis" in pediatric patients July 27. New indication for Singulair (montelukast sodium) is for treatment of "perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients 6 months of age and older." The therapy was previously approved for treatment of "seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older."
