ENFIELD, CONN. -- Lego Systems has received vendors awards from both Toys R Us and Target Stores, while the latter also recognized Lego's John Ptachick with the Toy Salesman of the Year Award. Lego received the 1990 "Vendor of the Year Award" from Toys R Us. "We are particularly proud of this award from the world's leading retailer of toys," said James O'Connell, vice president of sales at Lego Systems.

"It is a total team award that recognizes our partnership approach in addressing the complexities and challenges of manufacturing, distributing, and retailing in the 90's."
