The 2nd annual Wonder Women of Toys awards, sponsored by Women In Toys and PLAYTHINGS magazine, are designed to recognize exceptional women for contributions to their own companies as well as the toy industry as a whole. Selections in the four categories of Retailer, Manufacturer, Inventor/Designer and Entrepreneur, were strictly based on nominations from professionals within the toy industry who submitted recommendations along with an essay outlining why a candidate should receive this prestigious honor.
