La abierta disputa entre la Cruz Roja Mexicana (CRM) y la Junta de Asistencia Privada del Distrito Federal (JAP) reabrió el debate sobre la necesidad de reformar el marco jurÃdico que regula el sector de la beneficencia y, con ello, poner fin a la discrecionalidad con que se manejan actualmente donativos en efectivo y en especie.
En ese sentido, la Asamblea Legislativa del Distrito Federal dio el primer paso la semana pasada al dar entrada a una iniciativa de ley promovida por el Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD).
