This dual-stage pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) is formulated for the encapsulation of rigid and flexible OLEDs, LCDs, electronic paper, and other display technologies. The first stage is a pliable PSA that offers instant bonding. In the second stage, the PSA is exposed to UV light which transforms the PSA for high-strength bonding. The use of UV-curing transforms the PSA into a significant bonding agent so that no post-heat processing is required.
