Lucent Technologies EC&S has hosted an Open House/Technical Seminar/Poster Session, highlighting its latest technologies and service offerings at its headquarters in Staten Island, NY. The 65,000 sq ft facility is home to the company's expanding staff of electrochemists, analytical chemists, material scientists, process and application engineers.
The half-day technical seminar at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel began with a brief introduction by Dr. Joseph Abys, president of EC&S, and included presentations regarding lead-free legislative and marketing initiatives, pure tin as an alternative to lead-free solders and EC&S advanced analytical services.
