PNC Takes Multi-Pronged Approach With On-line Bill Delivery Pilots.

GETTING A FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE with several electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) models, PNC Bank has enlisted a trio of providers for a round of on-line billing pilots targeted at businesses and consumers.

Pittsburgh-based PNC has teamed with EDS to help develop a bill presentment service for the corporate and middle-market clients of Xerox Corp., said Daniel Pavlick, senior vice president and electronic commerce director at the $75 billion bank. The three-month effort is due to kick off this month.

In another initiative, MSFDC will supply Internet bill delivery for Xerox's small business clients, with PNC providing remittance processing to integrate MSFDC payment data into receivables files. Plans call for the pilot to begin this month,...
