Verado line grows with 200 I-4, 300 I-6 models.(AROUND THE DOCK)

This season, Mercury added two new Verado engines to the company's powerful lineup: a 200-hp four-cylinder and a 300-hp six-cylinder, both offering reliability and improved fuel efficiency.

The 300 joins the Verado 200, 225, 250 and 275 family with its 2.6-liter displacement, four valves per cylinder, charge-air cooler and electronic boost bypass control. It's available in 20-, 25- and 30-inch-shaft versions. The 200 I-4 rounds out the 135, 150 and 175 group, as it comes with a 1.7-liter, four-cylinder platform. Available with 20- and 25-inch shafts, it's one of the lightest four-strokes on the market.
